Custom jewellery from our workshop on Rokeby Road. From the first sketch to the finished piece, everything happens in-house, with you involved at every step.
Because the piece you're imagining doesn't exist in a catalogue.
Maybe you've seen a ring you like but want a different stone. Maybe you have loose diamonds from a family piece and want them reset into something new. Maybe you have a clear picture in your head and just need someone who knows how to build it.
That's what we do. Kerryn, Melanie, and our in-house master jeweller have been designing and building custom pieces for over 36 years. We don't outsource any part of the process. Your piece is sketched, cast, set, and polished in our workshop behind the showroom.
We work with diamonds, coloured gemstones, Australian South Sea pearls, and every precious metal. Plain wedding bands, intricate multi-stone earrings, one-of-a-kind engagement rings, and everything in between.
It starts with a conversation, usually over the counter in our showroom. Bring references, sketches, photos, loose stones, inherited pieces, or just an idea. We've had clients arrive with a Pinterest board and leave with a detailed design. We've had clients arrive with nothing but "I want something different" and that works too.
Free consultation, usually about 30 minutes
Based on our conversation, we produce detailed design drawings. You'll see your piece from every angle before any metal is touched. We'll talk through the specifics: prong versus bezel setting, stone placement, band width, metal finish.
If you want changes, we change it. This stage is about getting it right, not getting it done fast. Most designs go through two or three rounds before we're both satisfied.
Once you sign off on the design, our master jeweller gets to work. Casting, filing, setting, polishing. Every step happens in our Subiaco workshop. You're welcome to visit and see your piece in progress.
Depending on complexity, bench work takes anywhere from two to six weeks. We'll keep you updated throughout.
You come in, we hand it over. It's a good moment. We'll walk you through care instructions and any warranty details.
Every bespoke piece comes with a full valuation for insurance purposes. If your piece includes certified diamonds, you'll receive independent grading documentation.
Not every bespoke project starts from scratch. We regularly work with inherited and antique jewellery. Resetting stones from a grandmother's ring into a modern design. Repairing and restoring vintage pieces. Combining elements from multiple old pieces into one new one.
If you have jewellery sitting in a drawer because it's not your style or it's damaged, bring it in. We'll tell you what's possible.
We source diamonds, sapphires, rubies, emeralds, tourmalines, aquamarines, and other coloured gemstones from certified ethical suppliers. Our Australian South Sea pearls come from the waters off Western Australia's north-west coast.
We work in 18-carat yellow gold, white gold, rose gold, and platinum. We can mix metals in a single piece if that's what the design calls for.
All stones and materials are certified conflict-free. That is a guarantee we make on every piece we produce.
It depends on the design, the stones, and the metal. A simple plain-band wedding ring costs less than a multi-stone cocktail ring with rare coloured gems. That's obvious.
What we can tell you: the design consultation is free and carries no obligation. We will give you a detailed quote before any work begins. There are no hidden fees and no surprises at the end.
Our current ready-made collection ranges from around $2,000 to over $38,000. Bespoke pieces fall across a similar range depending on what you want built.
